Our story
It all started with an olive grove
In the late 1990s, Andy and Jude Steele planted 2,000 olive trees on their property along the banks of Gunbower Creek. Shortly after the first harvest, Jude combined her love of natural ingredients, her background in chemistry, and her unwavering curiosity to create a simple batch of olive oil soap in the family kitchen. From that very first batch, Olieve & Olie was born.
Today, we're still a family-owned Australian business, proudly led by the next generation. While our range has grown far beyond that first bar of soap, the values that inspired us remain the same - carefully chosen ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and taking the time to do things properly.
More than 25 years later, we're proud that our products have become part of everyday rituals in homes across Australia. Every product we create reflects the same care, quality and family values that have been at the heart of Olieve & Olie since the very beginning.
