Australian Grown Olive Oil
Australian grown olive oil has been at the heart of Olieve & Olie since the very beginning, and it remains the foundation of everything we make.
Naturally rich in antioxidants, vitamin E and essential fatty acids, olive oil helps nourish and protect the skin while supporting its natural barrier. It leaves skin feeling soft, supple and beautifully conditioned, absorbing easily without feeling heavy or clogging pores. Its naturally gentle cleansing properties also make it ideal for everyday use, even on sensitive skin.
We love it for another reason too. Olive trees are remarkably resilient, requiring very little water once established and producing fruit year after year without harming the tree. It's a simple, honest ingredient that's as thoughtful to grow as it is to use.
For us, olive oil isn't just an ingredient, it's the heart of our story. It has shaped every product we've created since the beginning and continues to inspire the way we make natural skincare today.
No Shortcuts
Pure, Raw Beeswax
Our raw beeswax comes from trusted beekeepers in Castlemaine, Victoria. Before it ever makes its way into our creams, balms and body butters, every block is carefully broken down by hand, gently melted and slowly filtered in our workshop. It's a time-consuming process that takes days rather than hours, requiring patience, care and plenty of attention along the way—but it's a process we've been committed to since the very beginning.
Unlike heavily processed or bleached beeswax, raw beeswax retains its natural golden colour, subtle honey aroma and the qualities that make it such a remarkable skincare ingredient. It helps create a breathable barrier that locks in moisture, protects against dryness and leaves skin feeling soft, nourished and comfortable. We believe that by starting with beeswax in its most natural form, we're creating products that stay true to both the ingredient and the way nature intended it.
It's slower. It's messier. And it's certainly not the easiest way to do it. But we've never believed the best skincare comes from taking shortcuts. For us, preserving the integrity of every ingredient has always been worth the extra time, because it's those small, thoughtful decisions that make every Olieve & Olie product so special.
Ancient & Australian
Ancient Australian Salt
Not all salt is created equal. The salt we use comes from Pyramid Hill in northern Victoria, where an innovative Australian company has been producing naturally harvested salt for more than 30 years.
What makes it so remarkable is where it comes from. Drawn from ancient underground saline water and naturally evaporated under the Australian sun, this beautiful flake salt has its origins in seabeds that existed millions of years ago. Even more remarkable is the story behind its production. Pyramid Salt was founded as part of an innovative approach to managing salinity in the Murray-Darling Basin, transforming a local environmental challenge into a premium Australian ingredient.
We choose it because it reflects everything we value - thoughtful sourcing, exceptional quality and respect for nature. It's naturally harvested, free from artificial additives and carefully produced by people who care deeply about what they do.
Like our olive oil and raw beeswax, it's another ingredient chosen not because it's easy to source, but because we believe it belongs in products made with care.

When possible, we source our key ingredients directly from the people who grow, harvest or produce them. From Australian-grown olive oil and raw beeswax to naturally harvested Australian flake salt, we believe knowing where our ingredients come from is just as important as knowing what they do.
Not every ingredient can be sourced this way, but whenever there's an opportunity to work directly with Australian producers, we'll always choose that path. It gives us confidence in the quality of what we're using while supporting the growers, makers and small businesses behind the ingredients we love.
Every ingredient that finds its way into an Olieve & Olie product is carefully selected for its quality, purpose and integrity. Whether it comes directly from a producer or a trusted specialist supplier, it's chosen because it meets the standards we'd expect for our own family.

Only What Your Skin Needs
We believe beautiful skincare doesn't need unnecessary extras. Every ingredient in an Olieve & Olie product has a purpose, and if it doesn't we leave it out. That's why our products are free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oils, silicones, synthetic colourants and are never tested on animals.
From the olive groves to the finished product, every decision we make comes back to one simple belief: use the very best ingredients, treat them with respect, and never take shortcuts.
