Everything we use is naturally derived, locally sourced where possible, and chosen for what it does — not for what sounds good on a label.
Our hero
Australian extra virgin olive oil
Firstly, it must be said — we are absolutely head over heels in love with Australian extra virgin olive oil. It's the primary ingredient in almost everything we make, and there's a good reason for that.
It's rich in antioxidants and vitamin E, which help restore skin and smooth over time. It absorbs deeply without clogging pores. It cleanses gently. And unlike a lot of other oils on the market, it's produced without pressing the planet to breaking point — the trees need very little water, no chemical spraying, and the olives harvest year after year without harm to the tree.
Local & unrefined
Beeswax from Mornington Peninsula apiaries
Our beeswax comes from local apiaries here on the Mornington Peninsula. It's rendered and filtered in our workshop, the way it has been since day one — no shortcuts, no synthetic substitutes.
In our creams and butters, beeswax creates a natural barrier that locks in moisture without suffocating your skin. Honey-warm in colour, subtle in scent, and kind to sensitive skin.
Our sourcing
Straight from the producers
We buy directly from the people who grow and make our ingredients — small producers in northern Victoria, on the Mornington Peninsula, and across regional Australia. It means we know exactly what we're getting, and we know it's grown the way we'd want it grown: chemical-free, ethical, and sustainable.
It also means our money goes back into the communities doing the real work — the growers, the harvesters, the local apiarists — rather than through a chain of middlemen.

Two ingredients we're often asked about
Every ingredient on our labels is natural — but a couple have names that sound more synthetic than they are. Here's what they actually are.
Sodium borate
Borax
A naturally mined salt. We use it in small quantities as a gentle preservative and to help bind water and oils together — it's what gives our creams their smooth, stable texture without synthetic emulsifiers.
Natural preservative
Parfum
Our "parfum" is derived from vanilla and almond. It's approved for use in organic skincare by Australian Certified Organic (ACO), and it's one of the reasons our products keep so well without anything synthetic.

What you won't find in our products
We believe in full transparency. If you can't pronounce it, we probably don't use it.
