A few of the questions we hear most — about how we make our products, and what goes on inside the workshop.
Yes. Our founder Jude Steele — with a background in chemistry and medical technology — started making products over fifteen years ago after our first olive harvest. She has since developed more than thirty natural skincare products and continues to lead production today.
Yes. Everything is manufactured by hand in 500 and 1000 litre kettles at our Rosebud factory. Our small team — Jude, Hal, and Cass — handles the mixing, pouring, measuring, bottling, labelling, and packing. Every product passes through our hands before it reaches you.
No. We don't test our products on animals, and we don't use palm oil in any of our formulations. Instead, we use locally-grown, pesticide-free olive oil from Victorian producers — supporting local growers and keeping our supply chain transparent.
